What is Acute Pain or acute knee injury? When pain and signs and symptoms of inflammation start appearing in and around knee joint in less then 24 hour.It is kind of sudden knee pain that appears suddenly and it is kind of sharp knee pain.

Have you ever felt sudden knee pain? I am sure you must have seen those soccer players crying in pain holding their knee when opponent player suddenly do sliding tackle.

This results in sudden sharp knee pain along with some severe swelling of the knee joint.

It is not sharp pain but kind of a dull pain and usually patient can not locate it to a particular area of the body but it is diffused.

Patient describes that the pain has been for few months now and it has started hampering activities of daily living.
